At 4-month appointment - 3.1 Patient has immediate bridge(s)
Before this appointment you should have either planned on removing the patient's immediate bridges intact and putting them back on, or requested a remill of the patient's immediate bridges.
You will need to get bridge scans with an extremely accurate bite scan with ideal VDO, and abutment scans. You can get the bridge scan before removing the bridges for the abutment scan, or after you seat bridges after the abutment scan. Both scans should include as much gingival information as possible, including the palate and other gingival markers that can be used to align the scans. This is especially important on the mandibular arch scan as natural gingival markers are harder to find.
If you're doing a single arch then the scans should include the opposing arch against which we will be designing occlusion.
We ask that you take the 7 required pictures that will help us verify that the digital bite is accurate, and establish the midline.
